Children’s Day celebrations kicked off with Reverend Jacob saying a prayer, after which Mrs Mallic Kumar addressed us. Right from Class 4 to Class 10, there were many events lined up, like Football in the Tunnel, the One-legged Race, and the Frog Jump Race. It was a delight to watch all the various houses of divisions A, B, C, D and E of each class do their best to make sure that their house won. Mrs. Gupta and Mrs. Joy’s wonderful commentary made the games all the more interesting.
The Prep Section from Classes Prep to Three had a fun filled morning with Science experiments and fun games organised for them.
I think we should strive to follow the example of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, an honourable man who once said, “The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country".
