The St. Francis House Assembly was conducted by the boys of St. Francis House on October 4th, celebrating the feast of patron saint, St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.
The event started with the House Prefect, Chirag Agarwal, welcoming everyone to the house assembly and requesting our Principal, Mrs. Mallic Kumar, and our Vice Principal, Mrs. Khisty, to inaugurate the assembly by lighting the lamp. The boys then sang the hymn, ‘Waves of Mercy’ followed by a clipping on the life of the Saint. Thereafter, the message of the story of ‘The Good Samaritan’ was put across through a short skit, which told us that we should put aside our differences and help those in need. A video was then played, which was about compassion, and helping those in need, bringing to light one of the Ten Commandments, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
