SWIMMING GALA
The morning of 28th February began on a very happy note. There was a buzz of excitement everywhere as it was the Swimming Gala for classes 1-5.
Our Principal Mrs. Sujata Mallic Kumar, declared the event open by cutting the ribbon. In the competition, there were many categories, such as- Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly, Relay and Medley. Students from classes 1-5 took part in the races and swam extremely well. For classes 1-3, the races were of 25 meters and for classes 4 and 5, the races were of 50 meters.
As the participants swam with all their heart and effort, the senior classes, who sat in the stands, cheered on for their houses with all enthusiasm.
At the end of the event, Mrs. Mallic Kumar gave away the medals and certificates to the various winners. St. Paul’s House came 1st, followed by St Francis House and then. St. Peter’s House.
Overall, it was a fun- filled morning which marked the end of the extra-curricular activities of the school calendar.
